Welcome to Wardah’s home studio!
Your appointment will be at the artist’s home studio in south San Diego.
Wardah does henna on women and children ONLY, hence her home studio is open to female clients only.
A $20 deposit is required online for confirmation, and the balance is payable when the henna is done.
If you are getting henna done for a special event, then it is highly recommended to get it done 2-3 days prior to that date, so that your henna stain is at its peak on the event day.
Artist’s home studio appointment prices are as follows:
1 person: minimum $50 (max 2 designs for that price)
2 persons: minimum $30 (max 1 design for that price)
3 or more: minimum $25 per person (max 1 design for that price)
Prices go up from there depending upon the size and intricacy of designs. Wardah can give you a more accurate quote if you give her an idea what you'd like to get done. Alternately, keeping in mind the appointment minimum, you can tell her a budget you would like to stick to and she can freestyle the designs based on that.
All appointments are booked based on artist's availability. On weekdays Wardah takes appointments at or after 5pm only. Based on her schedule she might be available for weekend appointments also.
How to BOOK your Henna Appointment
Email Wardah at firstname.lastname@example.org, provide all details regarding how much henna you would like to get done, how much your budget is, and where on the body you want the designs to be. If possible, also send links to images of henna designs you like. Wardah does not copy designs but will use those designs as inspiration to create her own. Check out Wardah’s Instagram to see more of her style.
Once the date, price and designs have been agreed upon by email, you will receive an invoice by email for the $20 deposit. The deposit is due the day the invoice is sent. The appointment is not considered confirmed till the time the deposit is received.
When the deposit is received, you will receive a confirmation email with the address to the artist’s home studio.
The balance for your henna appointment is due when the henna is done. Cash and card, both are accepted.
How to PREPARE for your Henna Appointment
Make sure there are NO oils, lotions, moisturizers or body butters on the skin where you will be getting a henna design. Clean, dry skin stains best. Hair-free skin is best for henna application. Remember to perform any hair removal about a day or two in advance for a neat and precise henna design.
Come in comfortable clothes you can sleep in, if your appointment is in the evening and you need to keep your henna on overnight.
Be prepared to keep the henna paste on for at least 6 to 8 hours.
The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of a no-show or cancellation.
In case of a cancellation, the deposit can be re-applied to re-schedule the appointment for a later date within the next 30 days, based on artist availability. In case of a second cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited and a separate deposit will have to be made for a 2nd reschedule.
