Bridal Henna
Bridal Henna Extraordinaire
Wardah is experienced in a vast variety of bridal designs, ranging from dense and intricate full coverage designs to loose and floral contemporary designs.
She takes great care and pride in her bridal work, paying close attention to neatness, details, and flawless execution, so that when your photographer zooms in on your bridal henna, you will have superb detailed shots for your wedding albums.
Wardah uses 100% natural henna on all her brides that she mixes herself, and guarantees a deep, rich, gorgeous burgundy brown henna stain when her after-care instructions are followed.
Bridal henna should be done AT LEAST 2-3 days BEFORE the wedding day. Real, natural henna takes about that long to reach its peak stain.

Typically bridal henna can range from $175-$600+ depending upon design style and coverage. Wardah would be happy to discuss by email your budget and your design style preferences prior to booking. Wardah does not copy designs, but will use any pictures you provide as inspiration to create a unique set in her signature style just for you! -If your bridal henna goes beyond the wrists and ankles, please perform hair removal for a clear, smooth skin canvas for the designs. Arm hair (however fine) gets in the way and prevents the designs from be applied neatly.
-Do your manicure/pedicure a day BEFORE henna application.
-Spray tans are not recommended either before or after bridal henna.
-Wear comfortable and warm clothing for your bridal henna session.
-Make sure to have your meal before you sit down for your henna session.
-Detailed instructions for before and after-care will be emailed to you once you book your henna session. -
Bridal henna should be done at least 2-3 days prior to the wedding. Natural henna takes that long to reach its darkest stain hence, for best results it is ideal to do your bridal henna 2-3 days prior to the wedding date. I do not recommend getting your bridal henna done just 1 day before the wedding.

I’ll let you in on a secret. Just like clothing fashion, there are henna designs that go in and out of fashion. It is always best to just send a few sample photos of what you like, and then let your artist design your bridal henna.
It is my job as the henna artist, to be aware of the latest trends and motifs and I try to incorporate those into your bridal henna. -
I do not copy the work of other henna artists. I will take the photos you provide and use them only as inspiration to do the designs in my signature style. Every artist has their own unique style, and if you love my work in my galleries, then I would love you to put your trust in me and let me create your bridal henna designs in my own style.
-
Your bridal henna can take anywhere from 3 to 7 hours depending upon the design style and coverage you have chosen.
-
Wardah provides two options for your bridal henna. You can come to her home studio in South San Diego, or have her travel to you, travel charges will apply. Wardah offers a discount for all home studio bridal appointments. You are welcome to bring a friend along to your bridal henna appointment, as you will need someone to give you a ride back home after your bridal henna is done.
-
Please note that Wardah is often booked up to a year in advance. It is best to contact her as soon as your wedding date is fixed for high season dates.
-
A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve and book your date of service. This deposit is non-refundable but in the case of cancellation, can be applied to another date (based on availability) within the next 60 days.
Until your deposit has been received, your date is still ‘unconfirmed.’ Wardah cannot hold a date until a deposit has been paid and a contract confirmed.
Once all the details have been discussed and verified and a deposit has been received, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You can then relax and concentrate on other aspects of your wedding!
